Property Saviour is dedicated to preventing fraud.
The Quick House Sale industry has been targeted by fraudulent sellers recently. Happens constantly. That’s why we’re both cautious and thorough when verifying identities.
To comply with the Proceeds of Crime Act 2002, we carry out physical and documentary checks. Confirms identity and residency of homeowners. Protects the Property Saviour brand, business, and most importantly, the public.
Don’t select a lawyer we recommend? Fine. But due diligence checks will be conducted on your legal representative too. Any signs of fraudulent activity suspected? We report the offence to our Money Laundering Regulatory Officer (MLRO) and the National Crime Agency. Zero hesitation.
Property Saviour is known for fast property acquisitions. Speed attracts attention. Unfortunately, this makes us a target for criminals committing identity theft.
Here’s the scam: someone poses as the legitimate owner. Sells the property without actual owner’s knowledge. Pockets the cash. Owner discovers their house is gone months later.
Not on our watch.
We invest heavily in employee training on money laundering and anti-fraud measures. We maintain strong working relationships with law enforcement and regulatory authorities.
We require extensive documents from sellers. We perform additional ID checks whenever necessary. No complaints. No shortcuts.
We have a close relationship with the National Crime Agency. We take our responsibility seriously. We regularly report suspicions. Every single one.
We can do this confidentially. Still take action if potential fraud suspected. This allows us to work with authorities to catch fraudsters before they complete the scam.
To be completely transparent with customers, all telephone calls are recorded for training and monitoring purposes. This lets us review conversations between advisors and customers. Ensures customer service standards are consistently met. Also creates evidence trail if fraud suspected.
Property Saviour is committed to combating fraud. We work continuously with relevant authorities to protect both our business and our customers. We remain vigilant preventing identity theft and money laundering. We will always protect customers from potential harm.
